A scanner is a device which directs a focused beam of light to obtain a true systematic pattern on a surface so as to reproduce the source image as it is.
A scanner can typically scan photographs, paintings, artworks, printed text, transparencies, films or objects to give the output of a digital image which further can be used on various platform for various purposes.
As the digital era has scaled up to new heights, the drum scanners of earlier days have completely disappeared. Today, scanners are the only way to retain and revive the old films and photographs. The modern day scanner converts them into digital form.

From the scanned image if you are looking for changing the existing color or any other color manipulation we can handle it. We work on Adobe Photoshop for doing the color correction, changing the color, spotting, channel separations, monotone and duotone conversion, CMYK color correction for print media, etc.
Once the scanning is done, if there is a need to compose those images into one or many for advertising or any other purpose like printing of poster, post card or for publishing, we do the super imposing of images for various needs.
If you have a printed original like paper or bromide, Artworknimage can scan and enlarge it to whatever size you desire. This can be used for print or digital media. We do the de-screening process while scanning so that the half tone dots from the original can be reduced during the next stage of reproduction.
If you want to use the scans for printing, it is better to scan it in the CMYK mode where the color gamut is limited. But if it is for digital purpose like image library, use in social media, etc., it can be scanned in RGB mode. Both of which can be color corrected and delivered.
The bromide print that you had taken years ago might be faded due to climatic conditions. Artworknimage scanning division can transform that into (as good as) original color. After the scanning we do color corrections and editing to make it look like the original and then you can use our 10 color printer to take prints of fine art quality. These prints have a life of fifty years plus without any fading.
